Bachelor of Music, Classical Performance
Alix’s passion for music started at the age of four when she started violin lessons on a tissue box and ruler as preparation for the violin. Since then her attitude to music has not changed. Her performance experience is extensive as a soloist, chamber and orchestral musician not only as a violinist but also as a violist. Over recent years this love of chamber music has grown and she has found herself part of numerous chamber ensembles in particular the Hyde String Quartet and Panforte. As well as this, Alix co-directs Ambrosia Ensembles, which gives her the ability to combine her enthusiasm for chamber music, performing and supporting local musicians, assisting them with the creation of projects and performances.
Alix just graduated from the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts with a Bachelor of Music, majoring in Classical Performance (Violin).
