$50 FOR AN HOUR $30 FOR HALF AN HOUR
Hi my name is Andrew and I have had over 15 years experience performing and composing with the most groovy, hard core R&B and blues band in England, The Sons of Mod. I have played alongside some of the best in the business including Mani, the bass player from the Stone Roses and Primal Scream, and The Fore whose music was recently featured over a BBC documentary about The Beatles. At the bottom of this advert is a link for you to see me playing guitar live. If you like what you hear and want to know how to start to play like this, get in touch!!!
I have previously taught over 400 children and adults throughout the North of England and London and now here in Adelaide. I tend to focus less on boring repetition of scales, but teach you how to use those scales in the most effective manner. I will teach you how chords are made and how you know what to solo over the top or how bass lines can be melodies themselves depending which is applicable, in an easy memorable way. I can teach you to play in a way that is fast and fun, with a focus on good playing technique and how you can make your own compositions for yourself…...for ever! :-)
I offer lessons to suit all levels of experience, from total novice to someone who’s played for a few years and now wants to know how to take it further.
I also have a lot of experience teaching children in the 12-16 age range, mostly boys but not always! (Police clearance check up to date)
Hendrix, The Stones, The Who, John Lee Hooker, Small Faces, The Beatles, that kind of 60s music etc. and all inspired rock/blues are my specialty.
Guitar can be provided if you do not have your own yet. Also have Electric Amps,Electric guitar, Bass guitar,wah-wah, 70s korg synth box and all kinds of things for all possibilities.
