Andrew Zamora

General Details

I’m Andrew, I offer a flexible teaching style based on your learning style and personal goals, whether they are specific (such as wanting to learn a particular song, set of skills or to sit an AMEB exam) or whether you simply want to learn what the piano has to offer and you’re not sure where to start or what to practice. As mentioned before, I offer a free trial lesson where we can discuss your (or your child’s) goals and how the lessons will work if you decide you like me and want to continue. I have a valid working with children check which I’m happy to present. Assuming you live close by (I live in Rowville) I’m able to give lessons at your house, otherwise I also teach at my own house if you live further out, don’t own a piano yet or you just prefer to have lessons there.

I have been teaching piano for 4 years now and have lots of experience teaching kids, up to senior adults. I recently graduated with a bachelor of music degree from Monash university. I achieved high distinctions in my recital subjects and I continue to make an effort to improve my piano technique and performance skills as a personal goal of mine. I also believe this is important for me as a teacher as I often find the best explanations are through demonstration.

Some of my favourite composers include Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Bach and Coldplay.

Here are my usual rates.

30 minutes – $25

45 minutes – $35

1 hour – $45

My availability depends on a number of factors such as where you live and the lesson duration however I am happy to teach early mornings and late nights till around 9 or 10pm if nessasary.

If you are interested or have any questions feel free to contact me anyway you like.
