Anna is a classically trained vocalist and music/singing teacher in her fifth and final year of a Bachelor of Music Studies (Classical Vocal Performance) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, and a Bachelor of Arts (Philosophy) at Sydney University.
Anna teaches a variety of styles, including classical, music theatre, jazz and gospel, to children and adults of all ages. She has been teaching from her private studio in North Turramurra for four years, and all students she has previously sent for ABRSM exams (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) have passed with distinction.
Anna has performed with numerous choirs and ensembles in the past, including Sydney Voices, the Sydney Conservatorium Chamber Choir, the Chamberchoir of Scandinavia (Sweden), Uppsala Vokal Ensemble (Sweden) and Berlin Cathedral Choir (Germany). Anna is also the second Australian to have been selected to sing with the World Youth Choir, first in the 2010 Summer Session in Spain. Most recently she was invited to sing with the choir at the Nobel Peace Prize Award Ceremony in Oslo in December 2011, Summer Session in Cyprus 2012, Summer Session in Germany in 2016 and Summer Session in Hungary 2017.
Anna has also performed in many musicals, both in the chorus and in lead roles, and as a child sung with Opera Australia in the Children’s Chorus in several operas (La Boheme, Turandot, The Cunning Little Vixen and Der Rosenkavalier).
