Professional Music Teachers in Australia
B.Mus Studies (Sydney Conservatorium), A.Mus.A (Distinction) AMEB
Ari has been teaching piano and music theory and musicianship at his private studio for the past twelve years. His students have had great success in both the practical and written AMEB examinations over the years.
His first teacher was Kathryn Lambert and later at university he studied under Stephanie McCallum. Although Ari has a classical background, the repertoire that he teaches is not strictly classical, with influences from pop music, film, jazz and folk music.
Ari has had a lot of experience teaching mostly younger children however all ages and skill levels are welcome. Enrolment into examinations is entirely up to the student and or parents as he believes some students respond well with learning specific repertoire and others prefer a more systematic approach such as the AMEB syllabus.
Ari has found it very rewarding preparing a number of his private year 12 students for their HSC music exams, all of which have scored above 90 for their HSC music mark.
He has also taught piano at Casimir Catholic College for a number of years.
