Beatrice completed her Bachelor of Music (Performance) at Sydney Conservatorium of Music and her Diploma of Education at Melbourne University. She has completed her AMUS in AMEB Cello and has taught extensively as both a Cello and a music teacher at many prestigious schools in both Sydney and Melbourne.
Last year, over 90% of her students gained an A or more in their AMEB exams.
Beatrice encourages the philosophy of playing for enjoyment and for learning important life skills through playing and socialising on the cello. She believes it is important to strive for goals and to develop ones own style and interests on the instrument. A healthy balance should be developed between enjoyment and goal setting.
Beatrice is a friendly and approachable teacher who likes to create an open dialogue between teacher and student in order for there to be a good partnership for learning.
Please contact her for further information or to organise a lesson.
