Bachelor of Music, Graduate Diploma Education (secondary)
Commonly known as Beck; I was born in 1985 in the country town of Lismore. I am an easy going person and love all things drum and music related. I am passionate about teaching and after completing a bachelor of music (jazz) through the Brisbane Conservatorium of Music. I gained a second university qualification; a Diploma of Education.
Other things which may be of interest are; I love music and play in various bands locally and nationally around Australia. Furthermore, It’s the simple things in life that really float my boat, a twilight walk along the beach, a surf as the sun rises over the horizon, a tasty meal with friends and fine wine. Simple tangible pleasures, there is nothing better…
I have had over 8 years of experience in the music industry. Through live performance, touring, recording & private music teaching I have developed a wide range of skills which I feel are a great asset in teaching. Reaching each individual is something I always strive for in my teaching and this motivation combined with the industry experience listed below, makes it possible for me to provide drum kit lessons which are informative, fun and most importantly make sense to each individual student.

Through these years of teaching I have developed different ways of reaching individual students, finding the best way to meet their learning needs.
