Ben Tansey

Hi, I am a piano and bass guitar teacher that can teach up to VCE level bass guitar and up to grade 4 AMEB piano. I’m a flexible teacher that can work to meet each individual student’s need’s, whether that’s preparing for exams, working through some books or taking a more relaxed approach and just learning some tunes.

I started learning piano at an early age and took up bass guitar in secondary school. I then studied music at Monash University and have completed a Bachelor of Music. I perform regularly in Melbourne and have been involved in a number of different musical projects. I have been teaching for a number of years and have experience with primary age children.

I teach at my home studio in St Kilda, within easy reach of public transport and with street parking available.

My fees are: Half Hour Lesson $25 Hour Lesson $50
