Bachelor of Music (Contemporary Performance), Certificate 3 Suzuki Pedagogy
Brianne grew up studying classical music and began playing the violin at the age of 3. Her first teacher was Yasuki Nakamura (president of the Australian Suzuki Association) and graduated the Suzuki method when only 16 years old, performing at the Sydney Opera House.
She began her Bachelor of Music at the Australian National University’s (ANU) Canberra School of Music, in Jazz violin and completed it through the Australian Institute of Music in Contemporary Performance in 2009.
Brianne also performs nationally with her World/Jazz group ‘Takadimi’.
Currently she is completing her qualifications in Suzuki Pedagogy, and teaches from her home studio in the Inner West of Sydney.
She has played at numerous venues including the Sydney Opera House, Angel Place Recital Hall, Sydney Town Hall, National Folk Festival (ACT) and The Sound Lounge in The Sydney Seymour Centre.
