Masters of Music from Mannes College NYC, Graduate Diploma of Classical Voice at WAAPA, Bachelor of Music at WAAPA
In June, Chelsea Kluga completed her Masters of Music for Opera at Mannes College: The New School in New York City. During this time she was the recipient of the Dame Joan Sutherland scholarship and was a finalist for the Marin Alsop award for entrepreneurial musicians. At Mannes College she performed the role of Lay Sister in the opera Suor Angelica and Meg in the Western Australian premier of the opera Little Women. During her undergraduate degree she was fortunate to be awarded the V.H.Cooper award for the highest performance marks of a first year student.
She has previously taught at Wesley College and Santa Maria College.
Chelsea began her career as a clarinetist. She was part of the Western Australian Youth Orchestra and took part in the Australia International Orchestral Symphony Institute (AISOI) in Tasmania.
