B.Mus, AMEB Musicianship, Piano and Vocal exams

Christie Lamb is in high demand, performing a great variety of music at many venues across Australia and has now decided to share her skills by developing a teaching business.

Christie Lamb has been described as the ‘full package’, a vibrant multi-instrumental singer-songwriter, bringing a fresh, contemporary stamp to Country Music with her own distinct style of Country-Rock.

A finalist in the Golden Guitar Awards for ‘CMAA Qantaslink New Talent of the Year’ two years running in 2016 and 2015, Christie has also had success in the CMC Music Awards: A finalist in ‘CMC Female Artist of the Year 2015’ and ultimately being voted ‘CMC New Oz Artist of the Year 2015’ by Australian Country Music Fans.

She has since been part of two highly successful tours, playing sold out shows and rapidly building further on her constantly expanding fan base.

Her talents caught the attention of Australian Country Music legend Lee Kernaghan, who invited her to be his special guest with The Wolfe Brothers on his ‘Songs And The Stories’ National Tour 2015/16.

“Christie is an incredible artist; not only an amazing singer, she is also an extremely talented multi-instrumental musician. She opens the concert with songs from her debut album, then joins my band on guitar, piano & mandolin. Christie sings all the female vocal parts from the ‘Spirit of the Anzacs’ album, including show-stopping solo performances of ‘Song For Grace’ and ‘Only 19’.
At just 23 years of age I reckon Christie Lamb is the one to watch. She is a star of the future”.
Lee Kernaghan.

Throughout 2015, Christie has also been touring the East Coast of Australia as a part of the ‘Girls Of Country’ tour with Amber Lawrence and Aleyce Simmonds, which has been extended due to popular demand.
Whilst completing her Bachelor of Music, Christie previously toured with Australian stage and screen legend Jon English as his lead female vocalist, also playing piano and guitar as part of the ‘Rock Revolution’ tour for 55 dates across Australia during 2012/13.

Christie released her debut album ‘All She Wrote’ in 2014 and undeniably announced her presence on the Australian Country Music scene. Following a sold out album launch in Sydney, Christie’s album hit #1 on the Aria Hit Seekers Album Chart (All Genres) and #2 on the ARIA Australian Artist Country Chart. The singles ‘Wish You Were A Cowboy’, ‘All She Wrote’ and ‘Broken Record’ were all multiple week #1’s on Australian Country Radio.

Christie has a Bachelor of Music (full scholarship award). She ranked first in HSC Music with a score of 99% and was chosen to perform at Encore HSC at The Opera House with her own composition. Christie has also passed AMEB Vocal Exams, seven AMEB Musicianship and Piano Exams. Christie has won over 300 vocal awards in her early career and has previous experience teaching vocal lessons at Studio 11 Penrith, Non Stop Dance Company Preston and Studio 7 Appin plus private tuition.

Christie would love to share their skills and experience with you.
