Contemporary session drummer, Christina Langham is a 23 year-old collaborative musician and events manager in Brisbane, Australia. A professionally trained and accomplished musician of multi-instrumental disciplines, Christina has a keen interest in musical performance, academia, collaborations, composition, artist development and experimental new music.
With a wealth of performance experiences, Christina has performed at numerous festivals around Australia, both small and large scale including Splendour In The Grass, 2high Festival, Wonderland Festival, Mullumbimby Music Festival, and Falls Music & Arts Festival. Along with co-releasing an extensive array of recordings, video clips and musical content, she has performed and toured parts of Australia with numerous artists, bands and musical projects spanning over many different genres. Some of these acts include Fat City Strut, Mecha Mecha, Nastaij, Ocean Leaves, Gracie Hughes, The Button Collective, and Ben Wilson and The Job Seekers, to name a few.
A passionate and versatile musician, Christina enjoys filling her days creating and working with artists, musicians and composers in various ensembles and arrangements with different musical and artistic influences.
Christina is the co-founder of local event promotions business, Vincent & Jules (Facebook.com/vnjevents). She is currently studying a Master of Arts (Research) at QUT, writing a Dissertation on the use of creative marketing and brand identities in music.
