WELCOME TO MY STUDIO!
ABOUT CHRISTINE FARON:
I received my early piano training in London and Canberra and graduated with Distinction from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 1979. I then spent many years studying and working throughout Europe as an international concert pianist, solo CD recording artist, researcher and teacher, including many solo performances in Mozart’s house during the Salzburg Festival. My recordings have been featured in Qantas’ in-flight music programmes, and are regularly played on radio stations around the world. Since returning to Australia I have given many concerts, broadcasts, lectures and masterclasses. I have taught at the ANU School of Music, Melbourne University and Sydney Conservatorium, and given lectures and Masterclasses for the Music Teachers’ Association in Canberra and interstate. I am currently preparing a series of books on piano technique.
