Clementine is a dedicated and thorough violin teacher who provides an encouraging lesson environment in which the individual student is the focus. Teaching from the age of 16 has given Clementine valuable experience and she aims to foster a love of music and performance in each of her students.
Clementine is an experienced all-round musician and has performed in Australia; (Melbourne, Adelaide), Europe;(France, Italy, London), Asia; (China, Hong Kong) and more specifically with her quartet, and as a soloist performing concertos, in Hamer Hall and BMW edge as well as other performances in Iwaki auditorium and the Melbourne Recital Centre. She has been involved in many large orchestras and chamber groups; Principal in the Melbourne Youth Orchestra, playing with Melbourne Uni Orchestra, Melbourne Uni String Ensemble, Melbourne Concert Orchestra, Melbourne Philharmonic Orchestra, Newman college choir. Clementine has also recorded as a soloist and ensemble member for contemporary Australian musicians and for film, such as Sirens by Rowan Smith and pop artist Maddy Hay.
Currently in her 3rd year of the Bachelor of Music degree at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, Melbourne University, she is studying Violin Performance with Concert Master of the MSO, Wilma Smith. Having previously studied under, Dr. Kurt Thompson, Irina Grigorian and Sarah Curro, and received master classes from Brett Dean and Edvard Grigorian.
She is able to prepare students for AMEB exams as well as VCE exams, teach students of all ages and theory is included in all beginner lessons. She is fluent in English and also speaks conversational Italian.
