MVMTA (Full Member of Victorian Music Teachers Association), BMus (Performance), AMusA (pianoforte), AMEB grade 7 clarinet, AMEB grade 6 Theory
I am currently completing my Master of Music (Performance Teaching) at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. I completed my Bachelor of Music (majoring in piano performance) in July 2015. I was awarded my AMusA (piano) in 2004 and AMEB grade 6 Theory in 2012. I am a member of the Victorian Music Teachers’ Association (VMTA) and hold a current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
Although I am classically trained, I teach a variety of genres including Jazz and Pop as well as classical music. I also provide atmospheric music at weddings and special events and have entertained visitors at Government House on Australia Day for the past 4 years.
I am a passionate musician and music educator with more than 12 years teaching experience. I enjoy teaching students of all capabilities and ages. My special interest is in understanding and catering to different learning styles so that every student can achieve their musical goals.
