Daniel started playing the piano from a young age and took up the flute in his teens. He obtained the LmusA with Jocelyn Edey Fazzone (flute) and the AmusA with Erica Booker (piano) He then undertook an Honours year with Elizabeth Koch (OBE) at the Elder Conservatorium of Music, Adelaide. Amongst other things, Daniel also studies singing and his teachers include Dorothy Mewes (Jo Estil method), Dawn Walsh (understudy to the late Joan Sutherland) and currently Patricia Johnston (Australian Opera). He has had over 13 years experience entering piano, flute & singing students for AMEB exams with successful results. He is also an active accompanist, specialising in flute & vocal/choral repertoire. Daniel has also undertaken various acting courses and has played lead roles in musicals. He teaches piano at Loreto Normanhurst and currently holds the position of accompanist of the girl’s choir.
Recent studies have been undertaken with Janet Davies, specialising in the Alexander Technique (Sydney Conservatorium)
