The upshot of these years of experience is that students get the benefit of wisdom and knowledge that only comes with time – thousands of hours of practice, performance, mistakes and successes.
And while theory is a part of the learning process, it is not the main focus. Students learn theory as a byproduct of the lesson.
So how do the lessons go? For starters Dave takes the time to find out what sort of music and interests the student has, then works with them to make the learning inspirational, enjoyable and fun.
