I am a music educator with 22 years professional experience. I teach from absolute beginner through to advanced diploma level and all ages from primary school through to adult. My students have gained places in Australia’s top youth orchestras and ensembles including SYO, AYO, SBSYO as well as finding places in highly regarded Jazz courses in Australia’s top tertiary institutions.
I try to make the music lessons I give inspiring and original. I aim to encourage all aspects of musical development, from comprehensive instrumental technique to artistic awareness and growth. I teach each student as an individual, after all we are all different! After 22 years I am still trying to discover new teaching styles and techniques. Learning an instrument can be for exam preparation, but it can also just be for fun and relaxation. My teaching studio is based in Lane Cove.
