Bio

Australian Guitarist David Orr has always pushed himself to never stop creating, writing, learning, being a part of something Musical, from Jazz/Blues to Rock to Classical, he has always strived to never be limited as a Musician or close minded to were Music can be taken or were it can take him on the never ending journey.

When David is in his home town of Brisbane, he can be seen weekly at local Jazz bars like The Bowery, playing with Brisbane’s best players, jamming Jazz/Blues with freedom to improvise with no boundarys. David has been a part of the local scene of Muso’s for over a decade, and has always felt it to an important part of what has made him grow and continue to grow as a musician.

Currently as a free lance session guitarist David tours internationally with The Ten Tenors, giving him an understanding of music theatre, pushing him to be extremely versatile as a player, moving through genres in a show setting, changing from Steel to classical nylon to Electric during a performance you can hear a pin drop.

As a front man vocalist and guitarist he has toured extensively with his own band “Numbers Radio” gaining National recognition winning the Triple J unearthed award, seeing the band have five consecutive singles spun on the leading Australian radio station, being the primary song writer for three record releases the trio has played on most the major Australian festival circuits, and shared the stage with many well known national and international acts, such as Birds of Tokyo, The Bronx, Jebidiah, Seether, Grinspoon, Butterfly effect. Numbers Radio have always held there own as one Australia’s great live rock acts.
