LMusA (Distinction), AMusA (Distinction)
I am a young, enthusiastic and qualified violin teacher and have been playing the violin for 17 years.
I have both solo and chamber music performing experience. I have played in several small chamber ensembles, and have featured as a soloist with the Camerata of St John’s, the Brisbane Girls Grammar School Chamber Orchestra, the UQ BEL Ensemble and the Queensland Medical Orchestra.
In the past I have won the prestigious Brisbane Girls Grammar School R.T. and A.E. Jefferies Bursary, and was offered a place in the Queensland Youth Symphony.
I achieved my AMEB AMusA and LMusA diploma qualifications (Awarded with Distinction) in 2009 and 2011 respectively.
In pursuit of further musical development, I travelled to Europe in July 2011, where I participated in masterclasses given by esteemed professors from the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien (Austria) and the Sibelius Academy (Finland).
I will be based in Toowoomba for the duration of 2016-2017 (apart from holidays). I will likely be able to return to Brisbane at least every couple of weekends, if not more often, to teach.
I am currently completing a degree in Medicine.
