ABOUT US: DW Music Tuition offers instrumental lessons to all ages and all abilities. We pride ourselves on having enthusiastic and vibrant teachers who spark the creativity in all students.
DW Music offer a range of instruments:

Brass – Trumpet / Trombone
Woodwind – Saxophone / Flute / Clarinet
Lessons run out of Derinya Primary School (on Overport Rd, Frankston South) each afternoon are are open to members of the public and all ages from Primary School age, Secondary School students and mature age students. DW Music can also provide ‘in school’ classes for schools during class time and an alternative to a classroom music program or to work along aside an existing program. Currently programs are running at Frankston Heights Primary, Kingsley Park Primary and Upper Beaconsfield Primary.
The school is run by Daniel Wormell a professional guitarist and educator. Completing a Bachelor of Music and Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary) at Monash University, Daniel has used these skills to gain industry experience both as a performer and teacher.
All teachers are experienced and active musicians who hold WCCC (Working with Children Check) or VIT (Victorian Institute of Teaching) accreditation.
Lessons are customized to each student to ensure they are engaged and happy as they take steps on their musical journey. Teachers try use material and music that the student enjoys be it AC/DC, Bach or One Direction while still teaching the key skills and fundamentals of the instrument and music theory. We also specialize in preparing students for exams be it VCE or AMEB seeing that each student reaches their potential with the right guidance. Specialist music methodologies such as Yamaha, Orff, Susuki or Kodaly can be incorporated into lesson by request.
The goal of the music school is to see all students enjoy learning an instrument and then take that knowledge into their own lives and fulfilling their goals. Be it playing a favorite songs, writing a hit single or acing an exam DW Music tuition can help you get there.
