Bachelor of Music Performance (Melbourne Conservatorium of Music)
Eamon Roy is Melbourne-based guitarist and composer. He is a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School and holds a Bachelor of Music Performance, awarded by the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. Over the years, he has studied under some of Australia’s leading exponents of the guitar including Tonie Field (Australian Guitar Quartet) and Doug de Vries (all things Brazilian).
As an active contributor to the Melbourne music scene, Eamon performs regularly in venues around town. Some of his current musical projects include the four piece original group ‘Windari’, Brazilian ensembles the ‘Eamon and Dudi Project’, ‘Altija’ and ‘Quarteto Curio’, Indie pop band ‘McRobin’ and a songwriting venture known as ‘Wet Weather Play’, where he performs his original works.
Eamon holds a current WWC and has experience teaching students with learning disabilities.
