Eliza Rogers started her musical journey at four, with bi-weekly lessons with one of Perth’s most well respected classical teachers. She was accepted into the music scholarship program at Perth Modern Senior High School, and had completed up to her AMEB level seven by the time she was fifteen. Upon graduating she was accepted into WAAPA for a Bachelor of Classical Performance.
Eliza is also a well-known contemporary performer in Western Australia, with experience as a session musician for recording studios including Couch, Sumo and Ampersonic. She has also toured nationally extensively, and has been flown over East to perform at different musical festivals including Moomba Festival in Melbourne, and Queenscliff Folk Festival and Tamworth Country music festival in New South Wales.
With such a strong musical background Eliza has also begun to experiment with songwriting, and a couple of her efforts were nominated for West Australian Music Awards Song of the Year last year.
Between 2010-2012 Eliza also completed an advanced diploma in Jazz performance at WAAPA, which further extended her overall musical understanding.
