ELM is a an exciting pre-instrumental music programme at Scotch College that is designed for children aged from birth to 7 years old. The classes are run by teachers who have completed degrees in Music Education and hold the Kodály certificate in Music Education. The weekly classes are sequential and follow a developmental programme that is suited to the needs and capabilities of each child. Within each lesson the children participate in activities that involve listening, moving, singing, playing and dancing. A parent, carer or grandparent is required to attend each class.
Classes last for 50 minutes and are $20 each ($200 per term). All enquiries can be made at the Scotch Music office.
Classes will be held in the Scotch Junior School music building. There is ample parking available at these premises. ELM has crèche facilities available for parents who need assistance with sibling supervision during the music sessions.
ELM is the first Do-Re-Mi school to open in WA.
