Bachelor of Music, AmusA, Master of Music Performance Teaching
A flautist of almost two decades, I have been teaching flute for several years. Pursuing music performing throughout my schooling, I have continued to studying flute perfomance and teaching in the classical orchestral sphere into my tertiary schooling. I completed my Bachelor of Music in 2012, and my Masters of Music (Performance Teaching) in 2013, both from the University of Melbourne.
Well-versed in AMEB examinations, I completed my AMusA certificate in 2012, and have vast experience in preparations for instrumental examinations.
I teach in the classical and orchestral repertoire, with particular emphasis on exam, audition, and performance preparation. I also have strong grounding in theory up to a tertiary and AMEB grade five level, and aural skills.
As a regular performer with local orchestras and ensembles, I also offer lessons in ensemble repertoire.
Lessons cater to all levels and abilities, from beginner to advanced, with the aim of playing for performance, audition, examination or purely for fun.
