Bachelor of Music Performance
Since completing her Bachelor of Music Performance at the Victorian College of Arts in 2012, Hannah Cameron has received recognition as both a composer and jazz vocalist. In November 2012 she was the recipient of the Riverside Live Talking Music Prize and in May 2013 she was awarded the prestigious Generations in Jazz Vocal Scholarship. She has performed alongside some of Australia’s finest musicians including James Morrison, Gian Slater, Chris Hale and Peter Petrucci.
Hannah has experience in a wide range of genres and styles including pop, jazz, musical theatre and classical. Other areas of interest include songwriting and basic piano/guitar skills for self-accompaniment.
As a teacher, Hannah’s ambition is to foster musicianship and creativity in her students and to assist them in realising their musical potential.
