Singing and Music teacher Ipswich – http://helencolemansinging.com.au/ – formally trained classical Soprano, sought after vocalist, and recording artist. Please check this website for information. I provide quality professional tuition of singing, stagecraft, piano and music theory, in a friendly atmosphere on a mobile basis in Ipswich and surrounds. I also take classes one afternoon a week at Boonah, and students in remote areas can access music tuition. Study materials and vocal exercises can be downloaded from my website. I have over twenty years of performance experience, both in Australia and internationally, and ten years of teaching experience. My students are highly accomplished multiple prize and bursary winners in both Eisteddfodau and competition. One of my notable students is Paris Morgan, a talented young vocalist who is arguably one of the most successful Eisteddfod competition singers in South East Qld during recent years. She has won numerous prizes, bursaries, Championships, and aggregate/Adjudicator awards, and is a regular name on the performance list at local events such as the Carols by the Lake in Springfield, Ipswich. In 2012, Paris was a finalist in Australia’s Got Talent, and her audition can be viewed on Youtube at the following link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RpkGwuuCn-0 or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bL7jic-opo Whilst all students are encouraged to sing in other languages, to attend eisteddfodau and participate in public performance, it is not mandatory. Many students also learn music purely for the love of the art, whilst others are studying for AMEB exams in preparation for a career in teaching music. I will tailor your lessons to your specific field of interest, and enjoy seeing musicians realise their full potential. All ages, all levels of experience welcome. Please check out my website for more information, and feel free to contact me with any questions about music tuition which you have. I take a special interest in mentoring younger students who are just beginning to study formally, and in teaching those who would like to take up an instrument, either singing or piano, in later life. Remember – it’s never too late to learn!
