Jack Savage

New York born, I have studied with many New York Private tutors, including William V. Kessler, Cozy Cole and Sonny Igoe. I have been teaching drums in Australia since 1971, both privately and at many schools. I am located in Glebe, Sydney.

I have been a professional drummer for my working life. In New York I have worked on Broadway and Off Broadway, with the Buddy Morrow Big Band, Carmen Cavallaro and a wide range of club dates. In Australia, I have played rock, backed shows, worked in club bands and have played jazz for many years with The Jenny Sheard Trio.
