Jaclyn Lanera

5 years teaching experience. Theory (5 years), Piano(4 years), Clarinet (3 years), Flute (1 year), Saxophone (1year). Experienced teaching ages 5 to 65.

I’m currently teaching clarinet and piano at St Margaret’s PS in Maribyrnong, the McDonald School of Music in Yarraville and privately in my home.

Theory Lessons also available. I have experience tutoring VCE solo performance students in Theory/Aural, several university students at the Melba Conservatorium and also in preparing students for AMEB theory exams.

I perform regularly with the Westgate Concert Band playing clarinet and alto clarinet, and also with the trio “Creative Differences” at various venues including nursing homes, childcare centres and in private homes.

I organise concerts which allow opportunities for my students to perform, normally on a half-yearly basis. Sharing music with others is one of the most important aspects of learning.
