Jacqueline is one of Australia’s most unique and adventurous singer/songwriters who has toured the world for 20 years and released 8 albums with iconic multi award-winning Australian vocal group Coco’s Lunch, as well as performing under her own name throughout Australia, Asia & Brazil. She is highly regarded as a warm, engaging and inspiring voice teacher, and is a vocal tutor in both the Jazz & Pop streams as well as Director of the Jazz Vocal Ensemble at Monash University. She is a highly sought after specialist teacher in jazz, Brazilian music, songwriting and improvisation and performs with some of Australia’s top ensembles including Panorama Brasil, Stoneflower, América do Sul, Christopher Hale’s Sylvan Coda and the Picturebox Orchestra.
In 2010/2011 Jacqueline released her acclaimed debut solo album ‘Ambrosia’ in both Australia and Brazil, where in Rio De Janeiro she continued to live for 6 months and film a video clip as well as collaborate with local musicians. As a longstanding member of Coco’s Lunch she has received a host of awards and nominations here and overseas, including a double ARIA nomination for the group’s latest album Blueprint. Jacqueline has also trained as a percussionist in West Africa and has been an active member of Melbourne’s African music scene for many years, performing and facilitating workshops with Drummergirl.
