Bachelor of Music (Violin Performance), Training and history of AMEB Practical and Theory exams, Blue Card approved, Bachelor of Arts
My name is Jacqueline and I have recently graduated from a Bachelor of Music and a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Queensland, majoring in Violin Performance, and Ancient History.
I am available to tutor on violin and music theory. I firmly believe that each student deserves individual attention, and tailor every student’s lesson according to their needs and personality. All new students receive their first lesson free.
I am currently Principal Second Violin in the Queensland Youth Symphony for the second consecutive year, and will hold this position on an international tour in November 2017. I work and volunteer as a musician and teacher in a variety of genres and venues.
I have a strong performing history, studying under Adam Chalabi and Spiros Rantos during my time at university. I have been a Principal member of the UQ Symphony Orchestra and the Pulse Chamber Orchestra. I have received well-rounded training as a soloist, chamber and orchestral musician. I took part in the 2016 Australian Youth Orchestra National Music Camp, in addition to my involvement in the 2015 in the July Season and National Music Camp.
I have been trained in the A.M.E.B. syllabus, and have completed tertiary Music Theory courses with Distinctions. I have experience in Primary School Workshops and hold a current Blue Card.
Please contact me for availability, concerns and any other questions you may have. I am contactable on 0434 251 317 or Jacqueline.firstname.lastname@example.org.
