Originally from Brisbane, Jennifer graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music in 2001 with a Bachelor of Music (Voice). She then continued her study at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts completing a BA (Music Theatre) in 2004. In 2007, Jennifer was awarded a Buzz Grant for emerging musicians by The Foundation for Young Australians.

Jennifer was most recently seen in Opera Australia’s national tour of My Fair Lady. She played Minnie Davies in the premiere of new Australian musical, The Hatpin – a role she created during two workshop productions and is also featured on the original cast recording. Other recent credits include: Crusade (Workshop) for Kookaburra, Frieda/Betty in Sunday In The Park With George for the Q Theatre, and Sarah Bernhardt in Palace Whore for the Short, Sweet and Song festival. In 2009 she will play the role of Peaches in Jerry Springer the Opera at the Sydney Opera House.

As a cabaret artist she has performed her one-woman show, Poison Soprano, in a season at Statement Lounge, and in various concert appearances including Kookaburra’s Up Close & Musical and Light the Night.

She is an experienced singing teacher specializing in music theatre and classical styles. Jennifer is available to work on vocal technique, audition preparation, repertoire expansion, interpretation and performance skills. All levels – beginner to professional.
