Jesse was born into a musical family. His Mum a professional jazz and session singer; Jesse and his twin brother Todd were encouraged at an early age. Since pursuing jazz bass at WAAPA, he has been mentored by many high profile artists such as Jamie Oehlers, Pete Jeavons, Freddie Grigson, Paul Pooley and Chris Tarr. As a current member of Wayjo’s composer’s ensemble for the last 2 years, he has been able to collaborate and record with world-class international and local musicians including; Jim Mcneely, Ed Partyka, Frank Tortiller, Jazz Groove Mothership Orchestra, Mace Francis, Sarah Mckenzie, Kristin Beradi, Matt Jodrell, Mike Stewart, Michelle Nicole, Jenna Cave and many other influential artist. Jesse has toured New South Wales and Victoria with Wayjo and conducted a recent tour of New York as part of WAAPA studying with world class musicians conducted at NYU.
