I have been playing the guitar electric/ acoustic for over twenty five years, having studied with both private guitar tutors (most notably advanced finger picking with music historian/ record producer Richard Newman) and classical music at Cambridge Polytechnic/ University back in the UK 1993.

I have been teaching both the electric and acoustic guitar for over 15 years and I also teach the bass, ukulele (soprano and tenor); and 5-string bluegrass banjo. I teach theory, harmony, improvisation and songwriting too!

I am a current member of (VIT) Victorian Teachers Register and I am able to teach private students, (both children and adults) from my home and their home.

Currently teaching for Metro Music for Weds/Thurs day at St Kevins, St Joan of Arc and St Joseph’s primary Schools. I also teach at the International Artist Academy in Fitzroy Monday nites, specializing in teaching people to sing and play guitar at a professional level.

I teach modern guitar styles, acoustic/ electric, both beginners/ adults – specializing in rock, blues, country, slide, finger picking, metal, strumming, and electric lead playing – songwriting and arranging.
