Kath Williams a passionate teacher and performer, and loves to see people live their dream ! She is a qualified Specialist voice teacher trained at Qld Conservatorium, Griffith University, in Contemporary Voice Pedagogy. Kath teaches vocals and healthy singing to singers at all levels of experience from beginner to pro, and mentors and teaches performance craft, repertoire coaching, duo and band mentoring, vocal harmonies, guitar and practical music theory.
Kath also specialises in vocal health and can guide you in how to work on and solve vocal problems you may be experiencing and wish to overcome in your singing.
She will work with you on freeing and energising your voice, with technique based on physiological fact and body awareness.
She is also qualified and experienced in teaching people with special needs, and is a member of ANATS (Aust. National Assoc Teachers of Singing) and the Australian Voice Association.
Aside from private tuition, Kath directs InsingC Choir, a rock out – contemporary/ gospel choir for men and women based centrally on the coast in Peregian Beach every week, and Museday Theatre, an acclaimed music and drama program for young adults with diverse abilities based in Nambour.
Kath also has a passion for working with songwriters in working their voices creatively in their original songs, and in working on technique to prepare for recording.
She is available for workshops, group lessons and corporate training and has 25 years live and current performance experience.
