Kenichi Mizushima is widely recognised as one of the stars of his generation.
Kenichi began learning cello from his father from the age of two.
He studied at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with Susan Blake later taking up studies in Bremen, Germany under Professor Alexander Baillie.
The winner in many leading competitions in Australia, Kenichi became a sought after guest soloist with orchestras around the world, some of which include concerto performances in Adelaide, the Australian Opera & Ballet Orchestra and the Korean Symphony Orchestra.
Among performing commitments, Kenichi is a keen and inspiring educator, leading many young children along the joyful paths of music and learning. His own pursuit of the cello and musical education has been a lifelong process of striving towards performance excellence.
