A diverse musician with a unique perspective, Brisbane based saxophonist Lee Brackenborough has been a part of a variety of music projects and genres: Classical, rock, pop, funk, ska, metal with jazz being his main focus in the last few years. Recently completing a Bachelor of music at JMI where he studied under esteemed musicians: Graeme Norris, Bruce Woodward, Helen Russel and Sean Foran Lee plans to continue as a freelance performer, composer and teacher. Having played at the 2011 Valley Jazz Festivals emerging artist stage and performing support gigs for the Louise Denson trio, Andrew Shaw, and the Dan Quigley quintet this up and coming artist is someone to look out for.
