Jane graduated from the NSW Conservatorium of Music in 1987 with a Bachelor of Music Degree and, in 1989 attained a Graduate Diploma of Arts in Music at the Victorian College of the Arts with a HECS scholarship. In 2009 she completed a Master of Teaching Degree at Sydney University.
Jane is an experienced teacher and an AMEB woodwind examiner. Her CV includes more than 30 years of teaching at private schools in Sydney, Melbourne and England including MLC, Trinity Grammar, SCEGGS and St. Catherine’s Girls School, Melbourne.
As a performer Jane has worked with many orchestra’s including the State Orchestra of Victoria, the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, Phantom of the Opera, Cats, and with a variety of chamber music ensembles.
Jane currently teaches oboe at The Scots College in Bellevue Hill and in her private studio’s at Brighton-Le-Sands and Lugarno.
