BMus (Jazz Performance)
Professional Bass Guitarist and music tutor
Hi my name is Lindsay Beach, a professional musician and bass guitarist. I have over 17 years experience on the instrument and the majority of that time I’ve been teaching others ranging from absolute beginners looking to join a band with mates or starting out with school ensembles to students looking to complete HSC music performance programs and go on to tertiary study as well as fellow industry professionals.
Graduating from the prestigious Sydney Conservatorium of Music jazz program and being a seasoned performer across many music idioms, I feel I can provide a well rounded tuition program across a range of music styles centered around improvised music and what benefits it can provide to all musical genres.
With a vast amount of experience with students at all levels I can provide highly effective lessons catered to skill level and what an individual wants to achieve while providing a fun environment always with the sole focus of the student getting maximum enjoyment from whatever context in which they are playing so they will hopefully appreciate music for life.
I specialize in working with beginning to intermediate students within school band programs. I offer affordable, value for money tuition so your son or daughter not only enjoys the band but reaps the benefits of what music can provide to other aspects of schooling life.
I also feel that I can provide guidance to more experienced students with both the raw aspects of playing the instrument but also how to become a more effective musician and or member of an ensemble right through to being able to forge a career as a professional instrumentalist.
I offer affordable rates and am able to provide lessons in two locations (Lane Cove and Forestville) and also am able to come to you within most surrounding areas. I charge $35 for 1/2 hour and $70 for hour lessons. Please feel free to contact with any questions or if you wish to chat further about any details.
I look forward to hearing from you.
