“...I have high expectations of teachers particularly when it comes to their ability to engage learners. I have been impressed with Lucinda’s dedication as a teacher evident from her extensive knowledge of learning styles and preferences, preparation, lesson planning and patience. My children thoroughly enjoyed learning from Lucinda, so much so that when she went on extended leave recently, they would not learn from anyone else!” Chitrita Mukerjee, parent and director Odissi Music and Dance Co.
Lucinda has maintained her love of the guitar since she began lessons at the age of 6. Her teachers, Cathy and Jason Waldron (Progressive Classical guitar Series). She grew up playing in regular concerts and workshops, and performed Villa Lobos- Prelude no. 1 solo at the Adelaide Festival Theatre at the age of 12. Her repertoire includes works of Bach, Terrega, Sor, Guiliani, Barrios, Albenez, Piazzola. Lucinda’s background in classical guitar has given her a solid foundation for her own song-writing and interpreting of songs.
