Bachelor of Music Studies, Grad. Dip Information Management
I love playing piano and chamber music. I share that love and joy of music making by teaching others. Learning never stops no matter how many certificates you have achieved. I learned piano from the age of 5 and then completed a music degree at Sydney Conservatorium. I learnt piano from Gerard Willems and Paul Rickard-Ford. I have taught diverse groups of students, young, adult and mature professionals in their 40s who started learning piano from zero. No matter what level you are, every time you pick a new piece of music you learn new problem solving skills. The most rewarding experience is when I see students improve their piano playing. Learning piano requires discipline, patience and persistence. With the right teacher, those qualities can be nurtured in students of all ages. My role is to mentor and keep students on track with their learning. I am a qualified private music teacher and also a qualified music librarian. Contact me to make an appointment for a preliminary meeting to discuss your aspiration.
