Mardi Chillingworth

Currently a professional performing musician and teacher. 15 years experience as a freelance orchestral experience, having played with Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra, Sydney Philharmonia, Sydney Opera House Orchestra to name just a few. She has been in many shows, operas and recordings in both the classical and pop genres. Apart from a successful playing career Mardi also teaches at leading private schools in Sydney and has tutored several students into receiving music scholarships into a private school education. She conducts enjoyable, fun and highly educational lessons which you can enjoy whilst you learn and devolp a strong and fundamental technique.
She prepares students for AMEB exams but also teaches with great results without undertaking AMEB exams. Much experience with youth orchestras and a strong knowledge of opportunities available to young people to enjoy their musical learning with others.
