Having trained & studied under-some of the most sort after vocal coaches in the world today, & a former Speech Level Singing Instructor himself, Matthew brings his wealth of knowledge & expertise back home where he is helping students explore & develop their own unique voice. By teaching them a technique that is used globally by recording artists, broadway performers, opera singers alike.

With over 15 years working professionally in the performing industry, Matthew has learnt what it takes to become a great singer & performer. A graduate of Australia’s elite performing arts academy NIDA (National institute of Dramatic Arts) & holding a Diploma of Musical Theatre from the Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music, Matthew’s professional credits include lead roles in West Side Story, Godspell, Les Miserables, Joseph & His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat & Pippin. He has also appeared in numerous concerts, corporate events, & wrote & produced his own one man show Broadway My Way.

As well as teaching privately, Matthew has worked as vocal director on Cabaret- the musical, vocal coach to Ikin Dance Australia full time dance course, Dance Force Academy full time dance course. Guest lecturer at leading local performing arts schools including GCTT (Gold Coast Triple Threat) & continuously consults for musical theatre auditions.

Matt is also the creator and host of Australia’s First Cabaret Talk Show THE GREENROOM PROJECT.

Now based on the Gold Coast Matthew looks forward to helping students unleash their true vocal and performance potential.
