BMUS majoring in Composition (2011), Grade 8 Flute Trinity (2006), Grade 5 Theory (2008)
I am a young, energetic teacher with a passion for making music fun! I have a Bachelor of Music degree from New Zealand School of Music/Victoria University in Wellington, NZ and I have 5 years experience tutoring music including employment as a primary school itinerant music teacher at a private school in Wellington NZ. I have played the flute for 15 years, achieving Grade 8 when I was 16. While the flute is my primary instrument, I also have experience teaching beginner piano, beginner recorder, music theory and classical music composition.
I work in the Melbourne choral scene, as general manager of chamber choir Polyphonic Voices, and am regularly employed as a freelance professional choral singer for an extensive range of groups.
