Nicole teaches students of all ages from her home in St Lucia very close to the suburbs of Toowong and Taringa.
She has worked as a freelance classical violinist in both Australia and the United Kingdom performing with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, Topology, Edinburgh Symphony Baroque, Edinburgh Contemporary Music Ensemble and the Edinburgh Grand Opera. Along with classical performance, Nicole has a keen interest in folk music from around the world and has performed with the Doch Gypsy Orchestra, Tango Paradiso and The Brisbane Celtic Fiddle Club. With over 10 years experience teaching within schools, through council programs and from her home studio, Nicole is experienced in teaching beginner to advanced students and has taught students from the ages of 4 through to 60.
Music Lessons with Nicole;
- Violin (beginner – grade 8 AMEB), viola (beginner – intermediate), music theory (beginner – intermediate) – Classical and some folk styles – Preparation for exams/eisteddfods/recital – Chamber music tutorials – All ages welcome
