Olivia began performing at the age of 8, commencing classical guitar tuition with Suzuki Method educator, Rob Turton. She is now a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School (VCASS) and University of Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. As a soloist Olivia was the recipient of Best Interpretation of an Australian Work at the Classical Guitar Society of Victoria Competition and runner-up of the Pioneer Outstanding Soloist Award at VCASS. Olivia represented VCASS at Chetham’s School of Music in the United Kingdom. Olivia’s chamber music abilities have been acknowledged as a finalist of the University of Melbourne Chamber Music Competition (2010 & 2012) and winner of VCASS’ Chamber Music Prize in 2009. The performance of the latter prize was held at Iwaki Auditorium and broadcast on ABC FM. Olivia has also performed as a soloist and chamber musician on 3MBS FM. Her original works as part of folk-pop project, Oh Pep!, have been heard on Radio National, 3RRR, PBS FM, and Triple J. Olivia is the co-founder of Oh Pep! They have recently released their second EP, II, and tour nationally on a regular basis. In 2012, Olivia sat on the committee of the Classical Guitar Society of Victoria as a General Member. She is currently undertaking her first year of Juris Doctor Program at Monash University.
