Paul began learning the piano at the age of 8 and has attained the associate level performance music diploma from the Australian Music Examination Board. Paul has participated in various music festivals and eisteddfods around the state and has obtained numerous prizes, including the Dawn Baldwin award for the most outstanding performance of a Beethoven Sonata at the Fremantle eisteddfod for two consecutive years. He is also well-trained in the violin and has experience performing in orchestras and smaller ensembles.
Paul is currently a graduate dentistry student at the University of Western Australia and has been offering music tuition for 5 years. He is very passionate about teaching and sharing his experiences of the instrument with individuals looking to take exams as well as those who are looking to take up the instrument for leisure. Paul also has experience as a piano accompanist, having accompanied for AMEB examinations, the North Perth Music Festival, the Children Sing Festival amongst many others.
