Raleigh Williams is a professional, highly experienced performer with teaching experience from primary-school aged children to adult.
She has a Bachelor of Music from Monash University (contemporary & jazz music), with over 10 years of professional performance experience, having learned and worked alongside some of Australia’s most respected vocalists and musicians as a sought-after session singer and front-woman.
Raleigh also sings and tours nationally in world-music ensemble Amanaska for Australian educational outfit Musica Viva, and performs as frontwoman in French ensemble La Nuit Blanche and her own original band RALEIGH.
Having been trained in both classical and contemporary fields, Raleigh can train singers in many genres including musical theatre/pop/jazz and soul, and additionally has a personal interest in French music.
Raleigh can help you prepare for auditions for tertiary-level institutions such as VCA, Monash University or WAAPA courses, theatre auditions, and is experienced with VCE/VET Solo Performance preparation, as well as theatrical auditions.
Her teaching focus is on providing a comfortable, healthy, stress-free environment to build your confidence and skills in singing, be it from beginner level to more advanced singing.
She can work with you on vocal strength, agility, stagecraft, repertoire, vocal health, jazz improvisation, audition preparation, even just prepare that one song you want to sing for a special occasion!
