Robert is an enthusiastic bassist and has recently graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts. Primarily focussing on orchestral music, Robert has extensive experience with a range of ensembles from around Australia, such as the Tasmania Discovery Orchestra, Royal Melbourne Philharmonic Orchestra, Melbourne Youth Orchestra, Australian Youth Band and an extensive list of freelance ensembles for various musical theatre groups around Melbourne. His other musical experiences over the years have accumulated with a number of jazz ensembles, both reading and improvised music.
Robert is comfortable teaching anybody, can help students learn to read sheet music, play from tabs, impovise as well as theory. He is able to travel to areas near the Blackburn locality.
