Born in Melbourne, Rosie began her Piano studies at age five. In 2000 she began to study with Professor Frank Wibaut, then head of the Australian National Academy of Music. After his departure in 2003, Rosie studied with Rita Reichman, head of Keyboard at the National Academy of Music in Melbourne.
In August 2004 Rosie went to Vienna to advance her instrumental and musical education. She studied at the University of Art and Music under Professor Heinz Medijmorec, partook in a demanding instrumental routine and completed a wide range of repertoire in preparation of a number of successful public performances. She performed solo and with Professor Thomas Riebl (Mozarteum – Salzburg) at various venues, including ‘Schloss Mirabell’ in Salzburg, the “Bösendorfer Saal’ in Vienna. In addition, Rosie participated in a number of Master courses, notably those given by Professor Karl.H Kämmerling in Lindau and Bückeburg.
In 2008 she was admitted to the Australian National Academy of Music where she participated in Master courses and classes conducted by Pascal Rogé, Boris Berman, Roy Howatt, Imogen Cooper and Gary Graffman and gave a number of successful public performances.
Rosie has both a Bachelor of Arts (Melb) and a Bachelor of Music with first class honours, completed at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music earlier this year. She is currently living, performing and teaching in Melbourne.
